Yes, we're going to the 'dogs again

It seems that there's enough interest in our pro football charity underdog game that we will give it a go again this year, for the second year in a row. I am still working on this year's rules, but I should have them posted here shortly, so potential players, please watch this space for instructions soon.

The basic idea is simple: Each week, you pick a team that's expected to lose. If they win their game outright, you get the number of points they were favored to lose by. The player with the most points at season's end (including the playoffs) is the winner, and gets to steer some money to their favorite charity.

We'll be starting the game on Labor Day, a week from Monday. What we're looking for here is fun, creative trash talk, and benefiting somebody's favorite good cause. So start brooding about your 'dogs. By the time they stop howling, there'll be snow on the ground. They could make you a hero.
