Last-round haymaker

You know that committee that the Portland businesspeople threw together when they realized that Mayor F. Ted Wheeler is about to get un-re-elected? Well, they just produced another tangible product. It's an election porn mailer attacking Ted's challenger. We got our copy yesterday:

They'll get no argument from me, but it's later than late at this point. We'll know a week from tonight whether we still care about this person's diploma collection.

Funny how it's easier to run on her negatives than on Wheeler's positives. A sad statement about our pitiful City Hall. Anyway, we held our noses and voted for Wheeler.
