It's Week 6 for the Big Daddies of American pro football, and the bookies learn more about the teams with every gritty week. Maybe that is why, when we last played our charity underdog game a couple of years ago, every one of the favorites won in Week 6. Will that happen again this year? Only the action on the gridiron will tell, but I suspect not. It's a rarity.

The intrepid players in our underdog game have perused the provocativity of today's schedule, and here are their picks to win outright – those in caps:
