I can't go for that

You know, I get it that Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, the Congresswoman from the 'Couve, is walking a tightrope in a purple district and can't be raging with Bernie and AOC all the time. And I'd hate to see her seat go back to the Trumpies. So I'm willing to cut her a lot of slack.

But yesterday she joined the GOP crowd in voting to fund ICE, the new American Gestapo. To me, that's crossing a line. And I'm not sure it's too smart. How is she going to raise any money to keep herself in office? If I were a rich person looking to buy influence, I wouldn't put much stock in her surviving in politics a lot longer.

Anyway, big raspberries to MGP on this one. It is the biggest issue that the country has faced in a long, long time, and she's on the wrong side. First, do no harm.

  1. That's how the sausage is made. There were many other important items in the funding bill. I've been against creating a whole new department of "Homeland Security" of das Vaterland, but way too late to reverse that action. It was almost like 9/11 was planned to give the government more control over our comings and goings...

  2. What the hell. Open the borders and let anyone (and everyone) who wants to come and live here. Let them be our "neighbors" and do whatever they want. Gangs, human trafficking...why not? Laws mean nothing, so forget about funding the cops (oops, that was tried). Forget obeying laws--that's for saps. Let's give anarchy a shot. It will be so warm and collective. Don't forget to wear your compulsory frog suit.

    1. If the alternative is roving gangs of masked murderers cosplaying an army and serving a dictator, you're actually right.

This gal is nothing but a wishy washy
B**CH. She should go back to her garage where she can commiserate with her bubba red hat customers.
Maybe her Reed College degree will enlighten her understanding of why she’ll probably be soon declaring bankruptcy.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog2@gmail.com and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
