Players in our charity pro football underdog game, a quick reminder: This week's Thursday doggie is Washington, and kickoff time is 5:15 p.m. PST today. That's your deadline if you want the Commanders as your pick this week. The place to send it is, as always, dogpdx24@gmail.com.

    Pro Tip, as a courtesy to my fellow "dogcastinators", you should post my predictions ahead of time so others can avoid my choices.

      I've occasionally tried to use the skills of the underdog crew to place some bets of my own on NFL games. The last time I did this, I went 0 for 6.
