Keen eyes, skilled hands, and a funnybone

I think that of all artists, cartoonists are my favorites. And so on the heels of the news that Al Jaffee has died, it's tough to read that Edward Koren has also shuffled off this mortal coil. His work in The New Yorker was always entertaining, and usually thought-provoking, despite how soft it was around the edges.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
