Week 19 underdog results

The Giants of East Rutherford, N.J. won 3 points for a half-dozen of the players in our charity pro football underdog game yesterday. The other two 'dogs o' the day did not prevail, nor did the Seabirds on Saturday. This leaves our standings as follows. The trio designated with the red asterisks are still in play for the week, with 3 points possible for them from Tampa Bay this evening:

Our leader keeps leading, with six correct picks in a row. Second and third place, which mean money for the players' charities at season's end, are still very much up in the air with two weeks to go. We will check in again on the drama again tonight.

UPDATE, 8:45 p.m.: Tampa Bay didn't get it done, and so the asterisks are off the standings above. We'll post next weekend's four games tomorrow. Early indications are that the spreads will be not too big, not too small, just right for some people.
