Her dog day's just begun

As any fool could have told you (and I did), Jaime Herrera Beutler's decision to stand up to Orange Caligula on his way out the door is going to make her life difficult. The Vancouver Republican now faces a primary challenge from the Q wing of her wretched political party. That's been a sizable chunk of her base until now.

Apparently three people have already announced they want her seat in Congress: Joe Kent, Heidi St. John, and Wadi Yakhour. They can all go pound salt as far as I'm concerned, but I have no use for Herrera Beutler, either. Let's hope a bitter campaign weakens her to the point that she finally loses the general election to a Democrat.

As for the Democrats, Carolyn Long has tried and failed multiple times in this district. Might they be better off running someone else?
