Old friends

The great cassette tape clear-out continues. The conversion of physical mixtapes to Apple Music playlists is time-consuming, but recovered storage space is a fine reward.

Not every tape will be tossed. There are some that can't be replaced, as far as I can tell. But it will be a relatively small number.

The nicest byproduct of this effort is getting to listen to some sounds that I haven't gotten around to in many years. Right now Julian Bream is making some wonderful music with "Romantic Guitar." A perfect soundtrack for the rainbow that's trying to get going just outside the window.
