Trump's occupying army is a lot like Trump University
As I suggested on Tuesday and the Times now confirms: The border patrol goons parading around downtown Portland in camouflage and shooting and kidnapping protesters have zero training in crowd control.
They need to go back to the border. Or back to Lafayette Park. Or wherever, but they need to get the hell out of Portland.
It's a little annoying hearing members of Congress calling this unconstitutional. Too bad they didn't show the same concerns when they were passing the Patriot Act. If you need to review just look back at the case of Brandon Mayfield right here in Oregon. The reality is Congress has been chipping away at our rights for years as we sink into this wretched surveillance state. So for them to sound all noble now about this is great, but it's a little disingenuous.
