I heard it on the X
They're at it again. Christine Drazan's gubernatorial campaign has another ad on TV, in which the announcer pronounces the incumbent's name with an "s" added at the end, so that it sounds like a brand of menstrual products. They must think it's cute. I think it's gross.
The governor's name is spoken three times. The 's is added in the first two namings.
Not that it matters. For me, no Republicans, for anything, ever. But it shows you how MAGA Drazan really is. This is Steve Bannon-level garbage.

Please. This from the guy who has spent the last 20 years attaching childish nicknames to politicians. Mayor Creepy? Fireman Randy, or Chevy Vega anyone?
ReplyDeleteJack's never run for office nor represented a major party - swing and a miss.
DeleteA Bonehead English class might an enlightenment.
ReplyDeleteLet us please remember that when a politician says something "spicy" (wut-up, Mitch), it gets blasted all-over social media, repeated on the evening news, in conversations in the car & at home, etc.
ReplyDeleteThe kids hear it being dittoheaded through a couple of news cycles, think it's OK to speak that way, and repeat it.
When BoJack calls the Mayor 'Weird Grandpa' or whatever, we chuckle to ourselves & move-along. He doesn't usually get picked-up by the MSM, so what he writes is usually only seen by those who choose to read it here.
Anyone can avoid what BoJack says by simply not looking here.
There's no getting away from the barrage of "spicy", especially during election season.
My nicknames are better than Christine Drazan’s. And yes, when I run for office and spend millions running them on TV, I may be subject to valid criticism.
