After a year's hiatus, our Charity Pro Foootball Underdog Game is off to a fine start, with more than 20 players making their picks for the season's first week. As you can see, there's quite a range of opinion:
8.5 CLEVELAND at Jacksonville - Linda
7 NEW ORLEANS at Detroit - Buster Dog-las, pdxTrojan
5.5 WASHINGTON at Philadelphia - Oredogger, SteveO, PDXileinOmaha
3.5 INDIANAPOLIS vs. Baltimore - Vegasbaby5, MJB
3.5 MIAMI at Las Vegas - Air
3.5 NEW ENGLAND at Seattle (Wednesday, unsuccessful) - Meow
3.5 SAN FRANCISCO vs. Los Angeles Rams (in Melbourne, Thursday, winner!) - Gordon
3.5 TAMPA BAY at Cincinnati - Kosar19, BostonSteve, Y.A. Tittle
3 CAROLINA vs. Chicago - Cliff, John
3 NEW YORK GIANTS vs. Dallas - Bad Picker
2.5 DENVER at Kansas City (Monday, pick still due Sunday 10:00 a.m. PDT) - Mojo, Shoeshine Boy, Digit Dance
1.5 GREEN BAY at Minnesota - Annie B., Greg
1.5 NEW YORK JETS at Tennessee - Roger Goodell
As always, my game administration skills may be a little rusty here in Week 1. If anything above looks amiss, please let me know right away at dogpdx26@gmail.com.
Nobody chose:
10 ARIZONA at Los Angeles Chargers
3.5 ATLANTA at Pittsburgh
1.5 HOUSTON vs. Buffalo
IMPORTANT NOTE: With one pick added as of 9:00 this morning, the list is now complete.
Good luck, players!
UPDATE, 2:15 p.m.: The Jets win, picking up a point and a half for Roger Goodell. The Saints make it as interesting as it can get, but they and the other early Sunday 'dogs lose. On to the afternoon games we go.
UPDATE, 5 p.m.: The biggest 'bowser on the board wins, but nobody in our game has it. The Commanders make it interesting, but break hearts, losing on special teams. The G-Men go for it in the nightcap.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog2@gmail.com and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
