Dear Landlord
I see that the "immigration" Gestapo is looking to rent office space in Portland and Roseburg. I don't know about Roseburg, which will probably roll out the red carpet, but I do know about Portland. I remember 2011, when Sam Adams and Randy Leonard were ramming the ICE jail into the scandalously inappropriate South Waterfront location it occupies today. The initial ruse was that it was "offce space." A number of people, including me, showed what a lie that was. The City Council gave the landlord, their buddy, a permit anyway.
With that history in mind, along with all that's happened since then, today I have a message for the hard-up Portland landlords who are thinking about signing a lease with ICE: If you go for it, the protesters and the City Council socialistas will make your life miserable.
And you will deserve every bit of the grief you get.

ReplyDeleteI find it very ironic that the biggest supporters of illegal immigration are the capitalists, whom the same rioter crowd are constantly blaming for all the world's ills (a valid point for the mega class of them). I'm pretty sure Obama still has the record for most deportations per year.
