We're finally on our own

It isn't going to stop until we have riots and martial law. It's what the Republicans want. It's what Putin wants.

Unfortunately, it's what we are going to get. You can't expect people to keep burying their family and friends without eventually fighting back. And not just with words.

The writing was on the wall on January 6. No system of government, no society, survives that sort of atrocity for long.

In 2017, I told my kids, "A lot of people are going to die before this is over." I had no idea how many, or in what a grotesque way.

We are living in a full-blown tin pot dictatorship. We have been for a year. 

To all my Republican readers, this is on you. You did this. And you own whatever hell comes next. You will never be forgiven for what you have done to our country.
