The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
Let's get the riots going again!
ReplyDeleteThat’s not resistance. Riots are just waste of time, effort, and money.
DeleteThe action has already started.
ReplyDeletecut your nose to spite your face [this time it will work]
ReplyDeleteDemocrats at four years to show how they could govern better. Turns out. Trump is not that bad and his family is not that corrupt in comparison.
ReplyDeleteThere’s a sucker born every minute.
DeleteToo early to start drinking, don't you think?
DeleteThe tide turned last summer. Not everyone noticed.
ReplyDeleteThe shock doesn't work the same, it's worn out now. Fallback position 2 would have been a better, more inspiring candidate. Those who control the national party outflanked themselves by instinctively taking the opposite positions from Trump. In the process, they allowed him to capture some formerly key Liberal/Democratic bedrocks such as worker protections, anti-interventionist foreign policy, and a healthy suspicion of the security state. Fallback position 3 should have been RFK Jr on the D ticket...but they blew that one too and he signed up with the other side.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to get worse before it gets better, the party got out to sea and burned the sails. It's up to Republicans to blow this chance, big time (and the threshold for what constitutes that got a lot bigger than 2016) unless the insiders in the Democratic party can pull a rabbit out of a hat somehow.
When the DNC clears its bench of old people it may eventually turn the tide.
