The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
Despite the cheery tones, #2 is the worst of the lot. #1 is irrelevant unless it's a mailer for her practice.
ReplyDeleteDexter’s is one of those safe, no-controversy ads. But saving lives isn’t necessary to serve in Congress, although it might be handy if one of her octogenarian colleagues has a stroke while on the House floor.
ReplyDeleteThe Seattle area has elected a series of disastrous “progressive” councilors, commissioners and representatives — Ms Jayapal being the sister of one of them. Her election would only add to the cacophonous screeching of The Squad.
Seattle has elected outright communists. And that statue of Lenin is still there.
DeleteJayapal has these ads on Youtube that play constantly where she proudly admits to having had an abortion and how she will fight for same. This would had been unheard of just 20 years ago, and frankly it is all a bit morbid.
ReplyDeleteNow she is going for the ‘green’ crowd, with the strategically placed rainbow flag in the background for added Portland cred. Talk about pandering.
Did I hear her say “medicine instead of abortion” in that ad? I clicked away in disgust too quickly to catch it all.
DeleteWell worth the knowing:

Get ready to be disappointed. There is way too much disconnect from reality in P-town. And since everybody lives in an echo chamber, very hard to use facts to change minds. In fact, most people run away from them like they are the plague. Anything that opposes their narrative, even though they love to tell you, "Science is Real" messes with their precious and insular circle jerk.
