You've let you country die just like your city and state.

    1. It was certainly an interesting decision by the band this weekend to have Mickey rap 'Fire on the Mountain' rather than have Oteil sing it, but I would HARDLY suggest it's a sign the country is dying. You can judge the state of the country for yourself here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9NPickybOU

Having been in the room where it happened, I can confirm first-hand that it's all gonna be OK.

    2. I'd rather you be right.

I'll be very surprised if we survive in recognizable form after November 7. The Jew hate, (which would be halted right now were the Jews a more favorite people), the ongoing harrassment of conservative justices and congress members, the silence at ongoing lawfare, the utter corruption of the press - the cowardice of men as the republic dwindles into barbarism, lawlessness encourage, OPEN BORDERS, the effort at erasure of women in sports.

Allying ourselves with Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah which was inevitable in this, Obama's 3rd term.

      The collapse of education. DEI?

And pursuing charges against Trump while declining to prosecute similar actions against the president because he's a dim witted old man?

Oh, Trump is a wretched choice, but he is not part of our rotten elite. Moreover, Pelosi and the rest could not survive the scrutiny that he has.

Absolute fiscal irresponsibility and misery of a rising matriarchy.

We are such a collapsed mess that I do believe Biden will settler Hamas people here

  2. I felt as though my citizenship meant something when I took the time to go to the polling place and vote. A mailed ballot feels like a short cut.

    1. I always hand-deliver mine to the Elections office, or at least to a drop-off box. Handing to the DeJoy Post Office doesn't feel right.

  4. I had a hard time deciding which judge to vote for.... Only 36 hours or so to see if Portland is continuing the path to ruin or a slight rebalancing.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
