The stopped clock


Just because a fool said it, doesn't mean it's automatically wrong. Recent events have made it clear, even to dense people, that the City of Portland and Multnomah County need to be merged.

  1. Probably won’t ever happen. The county bobble heads won’t give up power or money. And then there is METRO to contend with as well…
    The area will remain broken for the foreseeable future.

  2. As Jane Jacobs said, "A region is an area safely larger than the last one to whose problems we found no solution." We screwed up Portland, so let's make the problem even bigger -- that will fix it!
