God forgive me

The Turtle, Mitch McConnell, has done so much to damage our once-great country. It's really appalling. But perhaps the worst thing he has done is to rob so many of us of our souls.

As I watch him suffer while his mind slips away before the entire world, I don't feel even the tiniest grain of sympathy. In fact, just the opposite. I won't put it into any more words than that.

And I'm not alone.

We're not supposed to feel like this about another human being. No one is. And thank goodness, there are few people I've ever gotten to this point with. But he is such a vile excuse for a human. I can't wait until he is gone and I never have to think about him again. Because every time I do have to look at him, I go to a dark place where my good self can't be found.

  2. Yes many of us feel the same…and I don’t feel much of anything for the folks killing themselves with drugs like fentanyl.
I never imagined I’d ever be this callous and I am saddened by that and ashamed as well.

  3. Way too many braindead in Washington on both sides of the aisle. They prop these corpses up like Weekend at Bernies.

    1. Great idea. If we could get it by the elected people that vote to pass laws

  5. A duality challenge, trying to maintain a human empathy for folks like Mitch because we don't *want* to wish them ill, and yet . . .

  6. When Kentucky elected their Democratic governor a few years ago, McConnell and the boys rammed through a lame duck law that stripped the governor of the power to nominate his replacement in case he...you know. So there's no harm in losing the seat between now and next year.

However, like Feinstein, there's a TON of power in that seat and in being associated with the zombie senator. This is why they'll keep propping him up. It only gets worse from here.

  8. To quote a friend: What if next time McConnell freezes up at the podium snakes start coming out his mouth & then he melts & a small demon, old & bedraggled comes out of the mess like "I just can't do this any longer."

  9. F him. Hope he dies live on camera. A real POS what he did to Garland.

  10. I dunno: Biden, Feinstein, that Pennsylvania ghoul . . . As they are stupefied they are unable to do the damage that Boxer and Obama managed with their more active but solipsistic thinking. Nothing this side of. Buchanan is the equal of the Biden twofer: the elimination of our southern border and his purchased collaboration with China, Ukraine etc. Yet, yet there are those that contend Biden is as clean as if he just stepped from his dughter’s shower. Go figure.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
