Canned whine

This morning I pointed out that if I were governor, I would demand that the guy chairing the state liquor board resign.

Lo and behold, she did.

And lo and behold, he didn't even wait until Monday morning.

  1. The rest of them need to go too!

  2. So many of these folks toil in obscurity and are unprepared when things go sideways. The dais he was speaking behind when he started lecturing the press really caught my eye. Does the OLCC need a whole hearing room like that where commissioners get to sit like they're the supreme court or something?

The OLCC just built a big warehouse in Canby because their digs in Milwaukie had become too small. I'm sure the state will find another use when they're broken up. I'm sure the citizens here will be overjoyed.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
