What Portlanders need to know about the city charter changes

Vote no now, yes next May. Here's why, in video form.

Please get this right. In the long run, it might be the most important thing Portlanders vote on in this election.

  1. The current ballot measure reminds me of gerrymandering.

Written by those in power to protect their friends

  2. Will mapps be out by 2024? Why not have it in a higher turnout year than die on the vine like getting rid of PGE did in 2003?

Who will even show up to vote may 2023?

This isn’t to say vote yes now, definitely no, but may 2023?

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
