Dumb questions

Portland cracks me up. The media here especially. Check out these two classic pieces of Rose City journalism:

1. Did the riots damage Portland's reputation? The Oregonian took a poll.

2. Was Measure 110, essentially legalizing street drugs, a mistake? Willamette Week asked a sociologist in North Carolina.

When they write the book on how Portland crumbled, I hope the media get their share of the credit.

  1. The print media hasn’t hidden it’s political agenda for a long time

I’m old enough to remember when they printed the news

    1. No you're not. Yahoos like you have been complaining about the media since Gutenberg.

    2. Gutenberg never would listened to me

  2. I hope these two fine media organizations didn’t pay too much for these sources

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
