Curtains for the machine gun lady

The news that Uncle Phil has jumped ship seems as a practical matter to signal the end of Betsy Johnson’s bid to become Oregon’s next governor. Which unfortunately leaves voters with the two extremists, Hillary 2.0 or Trump Mommy. The future of the state never looked less promising.

Will Johnson withdraw at the last minute and throw her support to one of the others? I wouldn’t give that possibility much of a chance. Thus the Great Uncertainty continues.

  1. Don’t think Phil jumped ship

He just wants to avoid having a a radical in a powerful office

  2. Kotek is everything wrong with Oregon. How does she have remedies that she hasn't advanced as house speaker? Seems Drazan is well worth the risk given the Democrats will still control the legislature.

    1. Not voting against a Qanon Republican is a mistake. The Republican party is the most dangerous criminal enterprise in the history of the human race. Drazan is deep in it.

  3. I was all-in-for-Betsy, but at the end of the day, I'll be happy with anybody-but-Tina. The D's will still hold the legislature, but not with a veto-proof majority.

    1. Then it really is time for the Democrats to start nominating people who don't have so much ugly baggage. This is Hillary 2.0.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
