Oregon and meth: an epic fail

Emily Green of OPB has the tragic story, here, of how Oregon can't handle the meth epidemic, no matter how much of taxpayers' money gets thrown around. They're bungling it, badly.

If voters continue to elect people like Kate Brown and Deborah Kafoury, it will get worse, not better. And looking at the fall ballot, it's pretty easy to tell who those people are. Shame on all of them for fradulently representing their competence to govern.

  1. Reading Sam Quinones “The Least of Us: America in the time of fentanyl and meth” — depressing as hell. The entire Sackler family will burn in hell for eternity.

    1. I guess I got the subtitle wrong, it’s “ True Tales of America and Hope in the Time of Fentanyl and Meth” — man, I’m halfway through and sure am not seeing the hope yet.

    2. Powerful WA Post story today, showing the insidious, extremely addicting nature of opiods and fentanyl - quite the accompaniment to the Quinones book. This link should be paywall-free:

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
