Kent jumps ahead, by 960
It's been a bad, bad day for Congressperson Jaime Herrera Beutler up in the 'Couve. Clark County counted about 20,000 votes, and her opponent, Trumpy Joe Kent, got quite a few more of them than she did. He's ahead of her now, 47,623 to 46,663 district-wide, with about 11,000 votes left to be counted.
I do believe the incumbent has been Trumped. We should know for sure tomorrow.
If today's trend holds, one would think Kent will be the early favorite in the general election, over Maria Perez. Dear Lord.
