Jaime loses nearly half her lead in two hours
It's gotten more interesting in that Congressional primary we're watching up in Clark County, Washington and surroundings. And not in a good way. New numbers posted by the Secretary of State show the incumbent, Jaime Herrera Beutler, only 2,078 ahead of Trumpy challenger Joe Kent (pictured). About two hours earlier, the lead was 3,899. They counted about 23,000 votes in the meantime.
If Kent gets past JHB, he will be favored to beat Democrat Maria Perez in the general election.
But if I were Herrera Beutler, I'd still feel pretty good. Clark County, where she is comfortably ahead, reportedly still has about 45,000 votes left to count.
UPDATE, about an hour later (~6:00 p.m.): Some more votes (roughly 1,000) counted outside Clark County. Kent is now only 1,945 behind.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
