Another casualty of lawless Portland

The Cully Farmers Market on Northeast 42nd Avenue has been forced to shut down for the rest of the year because of an "unsafe environment" caused by "the actions of a few people."

I can only imagine what that's code for. But it certainly sounds like an epitaph for the entire city.

Remember when you could call the cops in a situation like this, and keep the nice things in life going? Not in Wheelerville, not any more. However, the farmers market will be replaced by a dozen magic orange traffic barrels on the empty lot.

  1. Democrats in Portland elected a progressive DA, voted for Measure 110, and marched to defund the police. Now they wonder why their city is unlivable. What is the average IQ in Portland? Very low.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
