    I think Cornyn was tasking Obama with comparing the overturning of Roe to the overturning of Plessy (Alito drew this connection in the majority opinion). I don't think Cornyn was actually calling for Brown to be overturned, but it was an awkwardly written tweet.

      It was a deliberate dog whistle. Don't even try to justify it.
