The O is calling Rene Gonzalez the "likely" second-place finisher, and thus the November general election challenger, in the Portland City Council race against Jo Ann Hardesty. That would be fine with me. But with only 928 votes between him and Vadim Mozyrsky, it seems a pretty rash call.

    The Oregonian appears incapable of mentioning Vadim Mozyrsky without called him the "big-money-backed candidate".

      Over at WW it's that or "dark money." Oooh, scary. Jo Ann gets the teachers union, but crickets on that.
