Time to live it up?

The coronavirus numbers in Oregon continue to improve. Particularly noteworthy are the Covid-related hospitalization figures. We're still worse off than a year ago in that department, but moving in the right direction for quite a while now:

Omicron was another chapter in the saga, that's for sure. Way more people caught it than Delta, but it hospitalized only about as many people as Delta had, and of the people who wound up in the hospital, this time less than two-thirds as many had to go into intensive care.

So now the mask mandates are being lifted in many settings, and I guess the invitation is being extended to try to act normal. Being triple-vaxxed and having had Omicron at Christmas, I'm feeling pretty safe. But I'm still looking over my shoulder, even before the next wave gets here.
