Keeping the streak alive

The Weed continues to get "Betsy Johnson" and "Republican" or "GOP" close together in a headline at every opportunity. This time, they send in reporter Rachel Monahan, who's their second-deadliest political assassin after Nigel "Jack Ruby" Jaquiss, to air right-wing complaints that Johnson isn't Republican enough. It's kind of a weak hit, but they keep their streak going.

At least Monahan gives Johnson a chance to speak her mind at the end:

"If you like tolling, you probably should support Tina Kotek.… The party attack dogs are going to continue to try to use me as a chew toy, and I will continue to tell people the truth and try to move this state.”
