Fuzzy math
Here's a sad one: Members of the Portland homeless industrial complex have reportedly been fudging the numbers on how many people they're actually housing. Sad, but not surprising.
Do you think that maybe they're fudging some numbers with dollar signs in front of them, too? With 2 billion new income tax dollars about to pour into their slush bin over the next 10 years, you would hope that someone would be watching.
Hope, but not bet on it. This being Portland, and all.
Yup. Somebody should be watching, but that ain't happening. I don't know how many park levies I've seen evaporate into the ether without producing a single observable product. I expect this to go much the same.
