Just do it!


I count three votes on the Portland City Council now for more cops, and body cams on cops: Dud Wheeler, Fall-Guy Ryan, and Mingus-a-um. So why don't they just declare an emergency and do it? Instead they have to flatulate their way through the "Fall Budget Monitoring Process." If ever a city was in a state of emergency, this one is. The fatalities are piling up.

    Meanwhile, in San Francisco, Chesa Boudin will face a recall election. Too bad that can't happen to Mike Schmidt.
