Breaking news: Boat not rocked

Oregon's zany new Congressional district map is now final. The six state judges who looked at it all thought it was fine. "The Legislative Assembly had sound reasons for the various line-drawing choices they made, including and especially the decisions to divide the Portland area among four districts and place Bend in the Fifth Congressional District." Uh huh. Now the Republicans have decided there is no sense trying to get the Supreme Seven to say any different. 

The Republicans should look at the bright side. Think how entertaining it will be to see Kurt Schrader answering to the bleeding hearts in the Woodstock neighborhood, and Loretta Smith's town halls in Sheridan. Stock up on the popcorn.
