It makes too much sense

One of my more cosmopolitan readers sends along this story about the vaccine passport system they've implemented up in British Columbia. Up that way, you can't go out many places without a proper app or printout of an app.

The vaccine card, under orders from provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, is required at most restaurants and indoor events to help ensure businesses can stay open and people can feel safe in these settings.

I guess we're never going to have that here. It's not just the politics that are screwing this up. There's a lot of incompetence, too.

I for one am sick of listening to people argue about vaccines and masks. What a screwed-up country. But we knew that. Donald Trump was President.
