Horrendous news from Amtrak
The westbound Empire Builder train, from Chicago to Spokane with continuing service to Portland and Seattle, derailed in the middle of nowhere in north central Montana this afternoon. The newspaper in Havre, the nearest actual town to the east of the wreck, says that three people have died. About 50 were hurt. There were 160 people total on board.
