Has someone been torching the Lloyd Center?

Buried down in this column in yesterday's Willy Week is news that suspicious fires have continued at Northeast Portland's moribund shopping mall. Given the fire fatalities just up the street this summer, that's disturbing to read.

  1. I read an article on the actor who played Luca Brasai in 'The Godfather', he had been a professional wrestler who later became an enforcer for the mob, his specialty was arson and he came up with some pretty creative ways to start fires like soaking tampons in gasoline and tying them to mice before he lit them on fire and set them loose in a building and a system where he poured a lot of gasoline on the floor and set a coo coo clock and a lit candle as a delay. I thought about that article when I read about that fire that shut down Lloyd Center.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
