Bad news today from Columbus, Ohio: Oregon upset Ohio State in football. Duck fans are always off-putting, but they will be particularly obnoxious now. And the bandwagon riders who appear only in good times will be flying their green and gold Cipher Flags high from their monster trucks as they four-wheel-drive down to Albertson's.

Meanwhile, some of the great Duck traditions are being revived. These two players have really gotten into the true spirit of U of O athletics.

Let's hope they lose a game or two pretty soon so that the grating noise will subside.

    But, college sports is the only discernible thing Oregon is doing somewhat successfully at present. Celebrate the less terrible!
