My Fred Meyer shopping list

I see that the Kroger grocery store chain, which owns Fred Meyer stores, has put Elaine Chao on its board of directors. Chao, the former Trump transportation secretary, is also the spouse of the vicious Senate majority leader, Mitch "The Turtle" McConnell, from Kentucky.

I spend a lot of money (by my standards) at Fred Meyer, which these days is run out of Cincinnati, but now I'll go there as little as possible. Already I'm making a list of what I buy there, and where else I can get it. I will pay more, and it will be less convenient, but it will be well worth it.

I'm sure Mr. Meyer is rolling in his grave.
