An epic moment


As Oregon governor, Kate Brown has had some bad scenes, but few if any could surpass in blunderhood her "mission accomplished" Covid reopening celebration in Portland on June 30. Not only did she overlook the dozens who literally roasted to death in the heat disaster the weekend before, but she also failed to anticipate the unprecedented surge in the coronavirus that was about to start just a few days after her party.

Now Brown's sulking in her office, leaving Covid response to the counties. I guess she can't stand any more embarrassment. Here's what her Providence Park photo op will end up looking like in the history books:
