I see that the "Downtown Clean and Safe" people are planning some "community listening sessions" in the weeks ahead. Mark your calendars:
Given how unclean and unsafe downtown is these days, that should make for some darn interesting "listening." The advance rating is R for strong language.
In good times this press release would be just fine. But now.........they need a “listening session” to see what the issues are? How about a “seeing session.” As in going out and looking around. The answers are right there.
ReplyDeleteDoesn’t bother me anymore as I am back home in L.O. for good now. I can’t believe how far Portland has spiraled downward in the last 10 years or so. Even with all of the ugly hipster rabbit hutches being put up at least the city seemed somewhat prosperous. But now........yuck.
