Where Darwin is a hands-on course

The vaccination rate is mighty low in La Pine, Oregon, just past Sunriver from Bend. La Pine ain't part of "Greater Idaho," but it's close. 

And surprise! The place is now a Covid hot spot. They just closed the high school after nearly half the students in it were ordered into quarantine. Back onto Zoom they go.

The governor, Killer Kate, was so determined to see kids in classrooms this school year. She even sacrificed some old people to make it happen. There are still a couple of weeks to go, but it appears most schools got away with it. La Pine High didn't.
