One-and-done is done

This morning's news about the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is a real setback. It sounds like the J&J juice has the same problem that the AstraZeneca has over in Europe. Maybe they'll come up with some way to tell in advance who's susceptible to the rare but serious blood clotting that these vaccines may bring on. But I doubt they will, and so I'm afraid the current "pause" is pretty much the end for those vaccines, at least in rich countries like ours, whre we can afford to be choosy.

Really too bad.
