Minneapolis. Again.

It's hard to believe that it happened again, just up the road from the ongoing trial of Derek Chauvin, the cop who murdered George Floyd.

This one kind of reminds me of the Kevin Peterson killing here in the Portland area. A young Black man runs from the cops rather than face arrest. He's shot and killed while trying to get away.

And then come the looting and the burning and the destruction and the tear gas and the God-knows-what-kind-of gas and the rubber bullets. And the cops concealing, lying, digging up all the dirt they can on the kid they just executed.

Daunte Wright. Twenty years old. On the phone with his mother. His girlfriend in the car with him.

What happens to a society when its police are so bad that the average person loses all faith in them? I guess we are finding out.
