Duck suits caught with hands in cookie jar

Oh, that pesky econ professor down in Eugene. A few weeks ago he caught the finance people at the U of O tapping a bond reserve fund to pay the expenses of the bloated athletics department. He wrote about it on his blog, UO Matters.

Now the Oregon state treasurer is requiring that those funds be returned.  Ha!  Ha!

I hope the blogger gets a nice thank-you note from the banker types who own those bonds. The shenanigans with public money in this state are more than a little concerning.
