Down for the count

The 2020 Census is in the news today. U.S. population growth is slowing. Here in Oregon, we're going to get a sixth congressional seat.

Swell. But man, that's got to be the least reliable census in a century. The coronavirus disrupted everything, includng the levels of outreach and people's responses. You had the evil DeJoy effing with the Post Office, and Orange Caligula's troops scaring the bejeezus out of anybody with something to hide from the Immigration goons. Under those conditions, you might as well have handed Larry Kudlow a double Long Island iced tea and let him make up the numbers.

I think in time we'll be posting an asterisk on the 2020 Census, along with 2020 everything else.
