The Peahens are gettin' it done
The women's basketball team from my undergrad alma mater, St. Peter's U., has advanced to the final game of the MAAC tournament. They defeated Rider today and face Marist College in the championship game in the morning.
Marist was 17-3, while SPU was a mere 13-14, on the regular season. But you never count out ballers from Jersey City. The Red Foxes from Poughkeepsie had better watch out.
The Peacock men play Fairfield in the semi-finals in a few hours. Go Peter's!
