The public is fading Heads

I've learned a fair amount over the past year about sports gambling. The tuition has been my $45 (and counting) in losses.

But there are some things about it that I don't think I'll ever fully understand. For example, I opened up the app this morning to look at the odds on the Super Bowl coin flip, and lo and behold:

Yep, Tails is now favored to win.

Sometimes when the odds move, it's because of breaking news about the players. Maybe Heads hurt himself in practice. Or Heads's coach came down with Covid. Or the wind is going to be a factor.

But sometimes, I guess, it's just that the public is crazy, and the casinos are smarter. Go figure.

And go, Tails!

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
