The big drip

Nothing like the sun to change one’s outlook. The ice and snow are melting like crazy just outside our window. It’s 50 degrees out there now.

On this side of the glass, however, it’s 59. The latest from the power company is that we’ll be back in business by 10 a.m. tomorrow.

It’s okay. I spent a quality hour just now with a book. You remember those.

Next up, eat what’s perishable. Find some battery-powered lights for when the sun goes down. Finish that can of hot cocoa powder from five years ago.

Silver Thaw ‘21, baby.

  1. Hmm. Yea, books. I sorta remember those. Pieces of paper with words on them all bound together. What do you do with them again?

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
