Round 2, 300K

Somewhere over the last few days, this blog broke the 300,000 mark in eyeballs – I think that means page views – as recorded by Google, which runs the Blogger platform on which we are hosted. I'm not sure how significant a statistic that is, really. For example, we seem to get a dozen hits from Turkey every day, and one night about 2,800 hits came in at midnight, supposedly from Israel.

But for sure, a lot of people are showing up here and reading this stuff, which does my old heart good. Three hundred thousand looks in about eight months. People are desperate for content.
